Abstract:
The monograph is dedicated to the issue of academic understanding of the “antinomic poetics” of the Russian modernism in modern concepts and analysis practices. The authors, participants of the RSF project no. 24-18-00248, along with well-known and young academics from different countries, explore the antinomic nature of modernist consciousness, the diversity of its forms of manifestation, its specificity and constructive role in the work of poets, writers and thinkers of the first quarter of the 20th century. Particular attention is drawn to the latest types of conceptual approach to understanding the contradictory integrity of modernism and the significance of the works of post-symbolists M.M. Bakhtin and A.F. Losev in deepening theoretical and methodological reflection on the uniqueness of this phenomenon of Russian culture. The publication includes new archive materials and sources. The publication is intended for academics working in the field of theory and history of literature, philosophy, the history of ideas, as well as general readers interested in the era of Russian modernism.
