Abstract:
The axiology of Old Russian literature (the aesthetic aspect) is a discipline exploring the descriptive and pictorial value of Old Russian literary works for us, for modern readers and researchers, and for those who tend to aesthetically perceive Old Russian monuments. But perceive them not in a distorted way. Therefore, based on the analysis of specific texts, this monograph evaluates the actual aesthetic aspirations or inclinations of the authors, editors and compilers of the text collections of the 11th to early 18th century.
Keywords: Axiology, Hermeneutics, History of Old Russian Literature, Sociology of Literature.
