Abstract:

This work is devoted to a comparative analysis of the poetic works by M. Kuzmin and V. Mayakovsky in order to identify their points of contact. The study analyzes linguistic units, stylistic features and thematic motifs in the poetry of both poets, and also identifies common features and differences in their poetic style. The purpose of the work is to identify common thematic and stylistic features in the works by M. Kuzmin and by V. Mayakovsky, as well as to understand their mutual influence on each other. Particular attention is paid to such an aspect of the poets’ creativity as the interaction of their works with the emerging art of the 20th century — cinema.
