Abstract:

The monograph is devoted to the relevant historical-literary, culturological, theoretical-methodological problem of ethnocultural borderland in its conceptual, typological and situational aspects. The facts, phenomena, sociocultural and sociophsycological situations characteristic for Ukrainian-Austrian, Ukrainian-Polish (Galichina), Ukrainian-Russian (Kharkiv, Donbass) literary zones, as well as Ukrainian-Jewish literary borderland, are studied. The principle of synchrony, comparativist and synergistic approaches are put in the base of analysis of some phenomena of boundary type in N. Gogol, T. Shevchenko, B. Shultz’s creative art.
