Abstract:

The second volume of the publication includes the results of joint Russian-Abkhaz studies of cultural relations between Russia and Abkhazia in the 19th and 20th centuries. Rare, little-known materials from state archives, private collections, book collections and periodicals are introduced into scientific use. A wide thematic range is represented by articles on the history of Russian-Abkhaz cultural relations, on the art of translating literary masterpieces, and on intercultural dialogue. The illustrative series is represented by historical photographs.

Keywords: Russian literature, Russian-Abkhazian literary links, memoirs, epistolary.
